UX Workshops

We offer workshops and shorter training courses in user experience.

Our recent workshop for UX in the Philippines was a great success and we’re keen to build the momentum by offering more short courses in user experience.

We offer introduction courses (or “bootcamps”) for those who wish to learn more about user experience, and we offer more specialist courses:

  • Card sorting: What is it, how to run one and how to analyse the results to product an information architecture.
  • Discovery phase research: Finding the user needs for a new project.
  • Usability testing: Does a design work? Let’s test with users and see where it fails.
  • Protocol analysis / content analysis: How to get actionable findings from unstructured text.
  • Task analysis: Finding out how efficient and effective interfaces can be.
  • Psychometrics: How to measure participants objectively.

If you take all these courses, you can opt to sit the examination for the British Computing Society’s foundation certificate in user experience. We’ll keep a record of our students and which courses they’ve taken, and we’ll be in touch if we think you’re qualified.

If you would like to book a workshop just for your company, we’d like to hear from you. We can provide a bespoke workshop for your staff that’s designed around your needs.

All attendees will receive a certificate of participation which can count towards continuing professional development. All courses will endeavour to use exercises to communicate the practical aspects of user experience and user research.
